Aloha! (Hello!)
Welcome to my Sand and Surf Lifestyle website. My name is Shawn Chun and I was born, raised and live here in beautiful Honolulu, Hawaii. Growing up here in the islands and traveling/living in various places on the island gave me a unique perspective on how we are all connected. From the land to the sea and we as people. Here in Hawaii we call it the Aloha Spirit, it can mean many different things to many different people, however to me it means the Love and Friendship that is shared amongst all people no matter who you are or where you come from. We are all human and only in harmony like nature can we grow in many ways.
I have traveled to different islands as well as spent time in California, Washington State, Boston, Washington DC and Arizona. I have also visited Japan. While traveling I got to see the different perspectives people bring to the world. The goal of this blog is to share the knowledge I have learned over the years and research I have gathered in regards to first hand ocean and beach living. From beach sports and games, to beach homes and living, boating, surfing, snorkeling and fishing I want to share with you the wonders and lifestyle that only comes with sand and surf living.
